"Welcome to the Organ Life!" aka Organ Life for short, is a comic I made for my illustration unit during April - June 2016. I recently decided to upload this, because I have physical copy of this but it does not show any words, so I'd like to upload this as a platform of showing my comic to others. It may be a basic story, but what I find most unique about this, is the idea of using human organs as characters. Imagine gore as their own characters.
This is just a short 5 page comic, but it is hand-drawn on water colour paper, then using water colour inks, I coloured them in. For line work, I used drawing nibs and Indian ink and white ink to add highlights. In between those steps, I had to wait for them to dry.
After that, the easiest part is scanning and digitally rendering and finalising it.

I hope you enjoy this mini comic. It is supposed to be SITCOM comic, so I wanted to add humour and make the characters lovable.
Thanks for viewing! If you enjoy this, please leave an appreciation! The motivation helps and it is good to know other appreciate my ideas :)
I may decide to make another one of these comics (consider time and effort) a sequel or a comic developing more of the characters.
Another note to add, is that I intend to post the process work and character designs for these characters on Behance, so I hope you also look forward to that.
Thanks again for viewing my work! I hope you enjoyed reading my comic.
